The other major road in Ventura is State Route 126, which heads east into the state. For those residents that want to avoid driving, there is rail service available directly from Ventura. Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner operates through Ventura Station (Harbor Boulevard and Figueroa Street) and connects San Luis Obispo to San Diego and the major coastal communities in between. For those needing to travel to other domestic locations or beyond, Los Angeles International Airport (1 World Way, Los Angeles) is 60 miles south of Ventura.
