VETERANS DAY is this Saturday. This important annual holiday honors the brave men and women that have served in all branches of the United States Armed Services. Help us celebrate the veterans in our community at the VENTURA COUNTY VETERANS DAY CEREMONY.

Come show your appreciation at the Veterans Day Ceremony at the Ventura County Veterans Memorial (800 South Victoria Avenue, Ventura) on November 11th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. This FREE event recognizes the bravery and sacrifices made by our nation’s veterans, as well as by their families. Several speakers will talk at the event, including Congresswoman Julia Brownley, Captain Chris Janke, USN Naval Base Ventura County Commanding Officer, Ventura County Supervisor Steve Bennett, and Assembly Member and Chair of the California Veterans Affairs Committee Jacqui Irwin. There will also be a laying of wreaths to honor each branch of the military.
Along with the Veterans Day Ceremony, there are several other special events occurring throughout the weekend to honor our veterans.

Trick or Treat at The Collection at Riverpark

Start trick or treating early at The Collection at Riverpark. Visit participating merchants and collect some delicious goodies. Complete the passport of merchants to be entered to win an incredible grand prize. At the end of the event, please sell back some of your candy to send to the troops overseas!
Harvest Moon Spooktacular
