Memorial Day Weekend is here! This unofficial start of summer means plenty of opportunities to spend time with family and friends, grill up some delicious food, enjoy outdoor recreation, and attend fun community events. At the same time, it is important to remember the real reason why we celebrate Memorial Day….to honor those brave men and women who have served in our nation’s armed forces. We need to remember and celebrate our veterans who sacrificed so much to protect the freedoms that we hold dear in the United States.
